Victory Sessions is proud to have Nathan Alker joining us on staff this summer as Assistant Camp Director for this Summer's Surf Camps. Many of us already know Nathan from surfing with him at the Friday Gatherings and may have done a Victory Sessions Surf Safari with him last summer. We all know he is an amazing surfer. But he is also a true man of God, A loving husband, and a popular Jr. high math teacher for Providence Hall. God's hand is definitely upon Nathan. So the question is how did he end up to be the man that God has fasioned him into today? So I decided to have him tell us. Below is Nathan's own personal story.

At the age of sixteen, I decided to make Jesus Christ Lord of my life. I directly attribute my conversion to the relationships I... [more]

We began with a surf at Hendry’s Beach starting at 3:30pm. All the kids were able to go straight from school to the beach. We all surfed together for two hours and had a blast.
Here is a little video of the surf session.
We then shuttled over to First Baptist Church, 949 Veronica Springs Road around 6:00pm for the BBQ. Jon Bancroft the youth pastor who hosted us, helped with the shuttling.
When we all arrived at the church, the kids immediately started skateboarding and playing basketball. The highlight was an intense game of "dirty dog knock out". ... [more]
